I got the job!

The biggest news is that i got the only job Ive ever applied for. I guess i got lucky. Or its my striking dependability and hard work =]. HA! But i went to a tanning salon, interested in buying a membership, while asking if they had any openings. I talked with the owner and she ended up loving me! I started the next day. I work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10-7. BY MYSELF! It was a little difficult running the whole place alone, but i adapt quickly. You just have to be good at computers. I manage the sales and money too. When school starts i will just work from after school to closing and then Saturdays. We are closed Sundays. But its pretty cool, i like making money! Its nice. I only work three days a week, and its nice having something to do! Its called Venezuela tan.

Birthdays & Concerts

Friday I went to Billy Bobs for the Chris Young concert (hes soo hott). It was so much fun. I danced first, a little two steppin and line dancing. And then we went to the concert (me and my friend Christina.) It was good. After the concert I got a picture with Chris Young! & his autograph on my ticket. After that we went back to the dance floor, where we were invited over to hang out with his band and Keith Anderson's! We talked to them for a while and eventually went home. Talk about famous for a night!

The next day My family went to Gaylord Texan for Camryn's birthday. It was a lot of fun. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAM!

The next day Camryn, Natasha, and I went to a dance hall and hung out there, and rode a mechanical bull! We lasted pretty long on there too!

Oh, and Memaw has me hooked on the hidden objects games. I'm not as addicted as her, but when i play it, I'm on for hours! Thanks, Memaw ;)

And on the 27th im seeing Kevin Fowler in concert for Christinas birthday!

Saddle up!

Cowboys was fun! What a night. The second time I went was with Camryn and Natasha. We started dancing and then all the people started to crowd around up cheering us on. We made a good team. I tell ya, white girl can DANCE! ;)

4th of July was cool. Lots of fun with the family!

Tonight I'm going to billy bobs, Tomorrow I'm spending the night at gaylord for Cam's Birthday and then Sunday going to Cowboys. That's my weekend plans.

Sunday is Camryns birthday! HER 14TH!!! I will dedicate a blog post just for her =]

And I'm sick of all this rain!!!!!! I want a Sunny Summer!

Cuties at the farm

Thursday my sister and I went with Dee and the babies to the farm to see the baby donkey! Buzz is its name-thanks Jude. It was soo much fun spending the day with hilarious Dee and her cute kiddos! Baylee was the only one who got to pet the baby donkey IN WHICH i got a picture of! =) I was so glad to see Nanaw and Pepaw again! I also got to witness for the first time Nanaw with her hair wet-and in a Mohawk. Wuta good sport. We ate good food and all had a great time. I also learned how to play domino's! Thanks Dee!!!!! =]

Tonight I'm going to Cowboys in Arlington with Camryn. Tonight is teen night. Its a country dance hall basically. We'll see how that goes.

Also a case that i was an attorney for was in the paper. Cool huh? My first famous case..and hopefully not the last! =P

Weekend Fun & More

Here are some pictures from a couple days ago with my friend Natasha. She cracks me up! I went over to her house to hang out and we walked to the park. As we were walking back home, it started to pour! That's why we look a little wet in some pictures.

Its Saturday, and tonight is the Indie races at Texas Motor Speedway. My good friend Zach from debate knows i love that stuff so he invited me with him to it. He has another ticket or something- he goes all the time. His dad gets special passes from his work. Another cool aspect of tonight-our seats are in a suite. Ive never been in one at Texas motor speedway! All i know is that they are real nice! I'm excited for that.

Summer is going good. My parents just bought a Suburban. I like it a lot. We needed it with our big family! I try to stay busy, i don't like laying around doing nothing. I like to go out! Tomorrow I'm going to Main Event with my Meme and sister. Grapevine closed the whole place down for Meme's work and their "guests". From 5-9 as much food, games, bowling, and laser tag as you want! So that should be fun. I also had put my newly discovered talent to the test. I am now taking belly dancing classes. Apparently i have a very flexible middle area...or whatever you call it. But i can really shake it ;) I love doing it too. I'm taking it with my friend. We are the youngest people in the class. But i don't care. I'm learning some cool things. Its a good workout too! Believe it or not for your arms! You have to hold and move them a lot. My instructor asked me after class if i have ever done it before and was surprised because i was "young". I said no and she said I'm pretty good. Who would of thought haha.

Summertime

Summer is here! Which means two months of free time! I know, you miss that. I want to get a job, but that is going to be difficult to manage without a licence of some sort. We are going to Colorado again. YAY! I cant wait. It is so beautiful. The first pictures are from Colorado last year. (The last picture i took of me yesterday, so its the most recent picture.)

While i know i will have good times, boredom is unavoidable. But that's better than school! Life is pretty great, cant really complain there. Oh, and i have a wonderful boyfriend. Hes the best. And not to mention hes really hot and has a six pack =] lol. (And for those who think "six pack" is beer-I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about abs.) He is going to Texas Christian University this fall. And yes, my family has met him even MY DAD :0 But its about time, and he approves. He is really sweet and treats me right! But enough about him.

Has anyone seen Shrek 3? Its really funny. This week I'm going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Exciting! This summer i am wanting to go to 2 choir/singing camps. We'll see.

Well that's all that's going on right now. Its really random, but hey, I'm a teenager! I'll keep ya updated ;)

South Padre

Well, i found my camera cord! Which means South Padre pictures are here!

The Second picture was a funny joke i made when everybody else was writing their boyfriends name on the beach i put " I love mom".

Padre was soo much fun! I have a lot of great memories from it. I made so many new friends. New, Senior friends =) We also saw a hypnoses show, which is pretty weird but funny. Next year your going to see pictures from Italy! But for now, FUN IN THE SUN AT SOUTH PADRE 2007!

Oh and By the way, i made Chorale choir, the best choir in school. yay!!! More pictures and summer plans comming soon

Pretty in green

Here is a picture of me after recieving the undergraduate award for history. (note: i am SO sunburned)

My friend Christina and I joked about how we were the "tropical women" because we had such vibrant dresses. It was fun, the food was good, and the dancing was great. Of course the CHOIR banquet would play great music! However, i found myself one of the few to sing my heart out to "greese"(Thanks Dee). Only one and a half weeks of school left! =)

Senior prom is today. I was invited, but i decided not to go. Maybe next year!

Im going to billy bobs tomarrow. I wish i could find my camera cord so i can put pictures on here, but it "disappeared". Im so mad! because all my banquet pictures and South Padre pictures are on there!

Speaking of Suth Padre, it was a huge hit! We did very well at contest, and i had a lot of fun. I got soo sunburned! And, of course, i peeled =) But at least i got a tan!

My grades at school are great! Im pretty sure i have high A's, ive done exceptionaly well. Except...for SPANISH! i hate it, really. Not so much the language as the horrible ditzy young spanish teacher i have who flirts with the boys in my class. She is a bad teacher. She just cant teach. SO everyone in my class is doing bad...and she wonders why ALL of us fail her tests! So, im extremely stressed out about spanish 3. I dont know my grade in there yet, but im not sure if i even want to know.

TAKS scores are in! I did good! Im glad too, not because i did well, but that means i can exempt some of my end of the year finals! In History & English i got commended, which means like top 10% in the country, and in science and math i passed and was one or two questions away from being commended.

Im probley trying out for Jazz choir at my school. This year, only TWO SOPRANOS CAN MAKE IT! out of the school. I know i wont make it, but its worth a try. If you are in jazz you do a lot of solos and the choir is only 16 people! you sing and dance and go on tours a lot. Auditions are tuesday.
