Ahh April. One of the most busiest months all year. The month to cram in TAKS testing, choir competitions, debate competitions, teen court axillary board and teen court training, banquet preparation, UIL, and more. Next month around the last week im out for summer! But may is also very busy. Tomarrow i have a debate tournament. Im doing a new form of debate: Public Forum. Im nervous because the resolution is kind of hard to debate both sides and ive never done this form of debate. The resolution is : United states corporations should honor all prior commitments to employee pensions.
My pictures are when i went to my best friends christinas house to hang out and be silly.
well i will talk later, im off to the gym!

Thank you for another post. I wish I could help you on the debate, but my corporation is so small that pensions are out of the question. But I can tell you about tensions!
So happy that you are active and so involved. Enjoy it! Love you!
Sounds interesting. I know as an employee I would want to get what I was promised if I worked for a corporation with benefits offered. Being on the other side, I see what can happen to change a corporation's success. You can lose the ability to provide what you may have promised. Now, if the reason is paying the top executives way too much money (some get unbelievable salaries plus bonus) and you end up losing your butt, I'd have to sue them for my pension. Enron is a good example of these types of things happening.
Good luck with your debate.
Very good logic, Sissy! AMR is another good example - record profits and big bonuses for the execs. No wonder the pilots and flight attendants are marching. Although, I've never been pro strikes.
Candy Girl, update us on how the debate ended and what intelligent ammunition you used.
