I love my baby brother Tommy. He has his moments, where i want to put duck tape over his mouth and tie him up, but for the most part hes my little angel. Hes so tough. Hes more of a man than most men! He loves to dirt bike, learn, play, and talk. lol. He even skate boards. I love you Tommy!
I'm getting my report card on Thursday. I'm not too excited about it, but I'm not worried. I know i did well. I'm especially happy that i brought my grade up in science. Last report card it was my lowest grade. Now, a 100 is going on my report card! I'm very determined in succeeding. I do believe you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, as long as you make it achievable.
Which brings me to my day.
I feel as if i am maturing everyday. I'm switching way of seeing the world from a child's eyes, to an adults. I'm seeing the world as it really is. And that scares me. I can rant all day about the effect of the attacks of the world trade center, war in Iraq, and the advances that are being made today. Or, the convergence of technology and events that allowed many other economies such as India and China to become part of the global supply chain for services and manufacturing. This gives them a huge stake in the success of globalization. There is so much more i don't even have enough hours in a day to write it. I love history, and it is amazing to see history repeat itself. Sadly enough, us Americans, especially in school, are not prepared for whats coming. We are at the top of a downward slope, and its all downwards from here. Globalization, people. And we're not ready for whats coming. I'm inspired to write a book on these affairs, but i certainly wont write one on the concept because my credibility wont get me far.
I will further my insight with this subject, and you will probably hear it often. but i think that's enough for one day. Happy Monday! Try to get through the rest of your week! =)

It's scary, isn't it? We are losing our strength to up-and-coming Ding-Dong generations...not that there aren't exceptions, of course! You, for one, who values an education and knows that is real power.
Congrats on bringing your science grade up. You remind me of myself in school...no one could crack the whip harder on me than myself.
Remember, I'm the "serious one." :/
Oh, and kisses to that sweet bro of yours!
Candice.....I had to read your blog to my family..It is so refreshing to hear such love and concern for a very uncertain future. My husband said we need someone like you in the White House, who see's all sides to a story. You are precious and give me hope for all people. By the way, my husband also said "can we make a two for one deal? Our two sons for one beautiful daughter!"
Love you
Sorry, Cheryl, Candice is ours. Of course, since you are Mom II, I guess you are Grandma II also.
Your insight and interest amaze me, Candy Girl. A change could be made in this world if we were all dedicated like you. Be our leader and take that first step, the rest of us will follow.
Not only is your brother very sweet, he is a diplomat. He was talking about his sisters, Sissy and Gunka. I asked which was his favorite. He said Sissy and Gunka. I told him that was a good answer. So proud of all of you! Love you!
That is the cutest pics of Thomas. You are a great big sister. Be glad there is such an age gap, if Thomas was bigger/older he'd beat the crap out of you.
You are so smart and so insightful. I'm so glad I'm not logging on and reading about the glory of Paris Hilton or the contribution that Hillary Duff's music is making on society.
Candice, I left a comment yesterday, but it didn't show up. Maybe it will now. I just set up an account.
I enjoyed reading your blog and look forward to the next one. What cute pictures of everyone!Love you!
